L-FLEX BATTERY PACKS

Six packs. Real specs. Pick honestly.

Every number below comes off the datasheet, not the marketing floor. All packs are 51.2 V drop-ins built and certified on IMECAR's own line, managed by the IM-P150 — the BMS family from our commercial EV platforms.

SPEC HONESTY

The amp race is marketing.

Battery brands love big discharge numbers. Here's what they don't say: your cart can only use what its motor and controller can draw. A stock cart motor is 2.2–5 kW — roughly 45–105 A continuous at 51.2 V. Amps beyond that aren't performance. They're a headline.

L-FLEX delivers 300 A continuous and 550 A for 5 s — around 3× headroom over even upgraded motors, managed by a BMS accurate to ±0.8 mV per cell. Enough for any hill, any load, any controller you'll realistically bolt on. We publish the datasheet; check the math yourself.

BEFORE YOU BUY — FROM ANYONE

Four questions that expose a sticker brand.

Ask these of every battery company — including us. A real manufacturer answers all four in writing.

Who manufactures the pack — and can you show me the factory?

Many "US brands" are generic imported packs with a logo. IMECAR builds cells-to-pack on its own line — robotic assembly, laser welding, end-of-line testing. Photos and video are on this site because it's our factory.

Will you exist in year 8 of my 10-year warranty?

A warranty is only as durable as the company behind it. IMECAR has engineered battery systems for OEMs — carts, buses, boats — since long before selling direct, and the US operation is backed by the manufacturer, not a marketing LLC.

Can I see the full datasheet, not the highlights?

Every L-FLEX spec on this page is the datasheet number, including the unflattering ones like weight. If a brand only publishes the numbers that sell, ask why.

Are the reviews real?

We're new to direct US sales, so we don't have thousands of five-star reviews — and we won't buy them. What we have is verifiable: OEM partnerships since 2016, an Edison Award, Bureau Veritas certification, and a factory you can look at.

A generalization — honest exceptions exist. Ask any brand the four questions above and you'll find them.

Every pack, in detail.

Straight answers.

+Will it fit my cart?

L-FLEX is a 51.2 V drop-in for 48 V-class carts, in two footprints: standard (15.75 × 15.39 in) and slim (25.59 × 10.67 in) for narrow trays. Check the dimensions against your battery bay, or use the Fit Finder and we'll recommend the right pack.

+Club or Pro — what am I actually paying for?

SmartDash, and a higher official rating. Pro includes the SmartDash live-monitoring hardware and carries our full 5,000-cycle rating. Club is the same IMECAR build, conservatively rated at 3,500 cycles — owners will tell you it does more, and we'd rather surprise you in that direction. Same voltage, same footprint, same warranty.

+Who actually manufactures this battery — and where?

IMECAR does — cells to modules to pack to the electronics that manage it, designed and built in IMECAR's own factory in Antalya, Türkiye, on the same certified line (CE, UN 38.3, ISO 9001/14001/45001 by Bureau Veritas) that builds packs for buses, boats and commercial EVs. Shipped, supported and warrantied from Miami, FL. We tell you where it's made because we're proud of the factory — ask any other brand the same question.

+What does the 10-year warranty cover, and who honors it?

IMECAR LLC in Miami, Florida — the manufacturer's own US entity — honors it for the original purchaser. Register within 30 days of purchase for the full ten years (unregistered packs get one year). Years 0–5 are free repair-or-replace; years 5–8 and 8–10 offer replacement at 50% / 75% of the then-current price. The complete document is a free PDF on our Support page — we publish our fine print before you ask.

+Do I need a charger?

You need a lithium charger that matches the charge spec in the Owner's Manual. Already own a certified, spec-compatible one? That works. But most chargers on the market aren't certified for this pack, and damage from incorrect charging isn't covered by the warranty. Ours are matched, tested, and the ones we trust 100%: 15 A ($250, the standard choice) or 25 A ($280, faster — worth it on the 9.2 and 10.5 packs).

+What does shipping cost?

Free freight shipping to Florida and Georgia for website orders — where we expect most of our customers — with other states calculated at checkout. Every order dispatches from our Miami warehouse the next business day. (Dealer orders run on separate terms.)

+What do I do with my old lead-acid batteries?

Lead-acid is one of the most recycled products in the US — most auto parts stores and scrap yards accept golf cart batteries, and many pay a core value for them. You may finish the swap a few dollars ahead.

+A competitor advertises more amps. Is that better?

Only if your motor can draw them. Stock cart motors are 2.2–5 kW — roughly 45–105 A continuous at 51.2 V. L-FLEX delivers 300 A continuous and 550 A for 5 seconds: about 3× headroom over even upgraded motors. Amps beyond what your controller can pull are a number on a landing page, not performance.
